Born and raised ClayCo (Clayton County), Georgia. Shy is a diverse artist, who draws his inspiration of "Realness" from his late Grandmother Cat Freeman. Cat was no stranger to packing a pistol and taking no s**t while still being a humanitarian and teaching her grandchildren to love and care for their fellow brother.Shy has been rapping in Georgia for a good minute now, but he has finally come out with a long awaited single on Kinfolk Music. As you listen to "I like G.R.I.T.S (Girls Raised In The South)", you will discover that shy has both an edgy and fun loving side. He is most def proud of where he comes from. And if you peep the highly rate photo-video on myspace you can see he has a point. Southern girls are phine without pretense. No offense to the others.Then when you listen to the snippet of Aint gotta say s**t, you discover that G.R.I.T.S gets your attention and is great for the booty shake for the club. But Aint gotta say s**t is an anthem. There is truly a message in his writing/raps.
