HOT GREG HOWE NEWSFLASH!! CHECK OUT THE VIDEO....'NUFF SAID! Tone Merchants is an intimate shop offering a wide selection of some of the finest guitar gear available. You can find quality equipment here, but what we offer first and foremost is personalized, one-on-one service. At Tone Merchants, you're not just a customer; and as a matter of fact, local players love to come in just to try out new gear, or just "hang out", and we offer them a cozy environment where they can do exactly that. We like to think we're more than just a business. And, in "The Back Room", our acoustically treated performance venue, you can catch some of the finest guitar talent out there. Artists such as Greg Howe, Allan Holdsworth, Scott Henderson, Guthrie Govan and Michael Landau have graced our stage with powerhouse performances, and we'll continue to offer concerts and clinics featuring these amazing guitar players. A little something about myself...I'm just a local SoCal guy who's been gigging around town for a LONG time. I contracted G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) in the mid-90's, and basically went nuts as the boutique guitar scene bloomed. I discovered Tone Merchants as a customer back in 2003 and was sucked into the machinery in August, 2004. Now I have the dream job of running the operations (and it's really a one-man operation...I'm the only person here). It's great being around all this fabulous high-end guitar equipment, but the biggest perk is having the opportunity to interface with all the incredible players that grace this little shop.
