| The group was formed in November of 1997 starting with just four members Calvin Duncan Sr., Calvin Duncan Jr., Calvin Henton, and Undrea Spencer. Influenced by singing with other quartets, the father and his three sons decided to give it a try. The group began rehearsing and made its debut in May 1998. As time passed, the group began to get stronger vocally and spiritually. In 2000, the Lord blessed the Echoes with another vocalist, James Fletcher, who happens to be a first cousin. With the Echoes' Ministry getting stronger, the group started traveling around the ARK-LA-MISS. In early 2003, the group recorded their first cd entitled "Feel The Fire." In all of our traveling, we still were lacking a full forced band. So we prayed and scouted for some musicians. In the fall of 2003, the Lord blessed us with George Lewis(bass player). Standing on a strong foundation (Jesus), the group began to flourish. From singing in churches to playing in prisons, the Lord was using The Echoes' Ministry. At that time, the Lord sent us a keyboardist, Richard Shaw. Richard joined the group in October of 2004. In our travels, the Lord has blessed us to be able to go beyond the ARK-LA-MISS and spread his gospel through singing. We've been to Houston, TX, Goose Creek, SC, and Indianapolis, IN just to name a few. In the summer of 2006, we were blessed to work with Dwight Gordon (formerly of The Mighty Clouds of Joy and The Williams Brothers and with The Racy Brothers), to participate on one of his projects: Dwight Gordon Presents "The Best of Best" Louisiana Style. The Lord has truly shown us favor through his many blessings seen and not seen. To all of our family, friends, and fans we we love you and continue to pray and support our Ministry as you do.
